To Stucki:

Ping. Any feedback on the proposed patch in above links?
Does it solve your failing test Test_cmdline_complete_user_names()?

With the proposed patch, I would expect that  :e ~s<CTRL-A>
completes with the remote user 'stucki' among possibly other
local users beginning with s.
