Hmm, but the first line of the text shouldn't the same as the file name?
If we keep the file name as-is, then the first line of README_os390.txt
should be changed to:
README_os390.txt for version 8.1 of Vim: Vi IMproved.

I don't know how the Amiga handles those files, but are the files in the
right directories? It seems that *.info files exist in the same directories
with the files (or directories) without the .info extension. (E.g. Both "doc"
and "doc.info" are in the "runtime" directory.)
Shouldn't the following files in the "READMEdir" be moved to the top directory?
README.txt.info
runtime.info
src.info
(Not sure about Vim.info, vimdir.info and Xxd.info.)
