Yes, these are desktop files, which normally are in the same directory
as the file they are for.  But sometimes they are moved when packaging
or installing.

I moved all the .info files out of the top directory to make the front
page in github look better.  This does indeed mean that a few are now in
the READMEdir directory.  Let's leave this unless someone complains.
