Greetings everyone, I've just upgraded to Snow Leopard and now I am experiencing two problems with MacVim: 1). The "External Editor" functionality is broken. The "Edit with MacVim" item has disappeared both from Mail's and from Safari's "Edit" menu. I've trying launching MacVim, going to "Integration" pane in the Preferences menu and then uninstalling and installing the "External Editor" several times. To no avail - I can't get the "Edit with MacVim" item back in Mail. As I've gotten used to editing all my mail with MacVim before (in Leopard), this is very inconvinient. 2). When a file that's set to be opened with MacVim is opened by clicking on it in Spotlight, or from the "Documents" stack in the Dock, then MacVim *doesn't* process ".vimrc" or ".gvimrc" files in the directory that the file is in. Even though "exrc" option is set in ~/.vimrc. Moreover, if I open Terminal, enter the requisite directory and type "mvim [filename]", then ".vimrc" and ".gvimrc" do get processed.
Am I just being stupid and have missed setting some option somewhere, or are these genuine bugs? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_mac" maillist.
