Dear Björn,

Thanks for the speedy reply! Great to see this level of support.

Aha, excellent! I get it - is this because at present MacVim binary
is compiled in 32-bit, and so is the input manager it installs? And
32-bit plugings are a no-go for 64-bit apps?
I don't actually care about Safari, but Mail.app is crucial to me,
as I can't envisage myself editing my mail in anything but Vim.
And running Mail.app as a 32-bit app brought back the "Edit in
MacVim..."
just nicely, thanks!
Does this all mean that whenever we'll have a dedicated 64-bit Snow
Leopard
only version of MacVim come out, I can run Mail.app in 64-bit mode
again?

Thanks! Chalk me up as another person eagerly waiting for this fix
to happen. I use Vim for LaTeXing, different papers for different
journals
require a different set of macros and various other setting/hacks
and I rely on local .vimrc files in the directory of each paper to load
them up. Being a recent Linux -> MacOS migrant, under Linux I've just
used plain console-based Vim for last 10 years, but now under MacOS
all the Spotlight/Dock Stacks magic really wants me using MacVim! :)
