That's comforting to know. I had come to that conclusion myself. As
far as ubuntu goes i think it is very good, with excellent
documentation which has helped me learn more about linux than any
other distro. I do think their six month releases are rather ambitious
and would rather see an annual one with full testing and development.
The project runs at a loss i believe and as i want to see it
successful i wonder how long they will be able to keep going.

I did look at other distros for a while, Suse and Fedora but i didn't
feel they were as good. APT package management seems a better system
to me. If i was to change it would be to Arch or Mepis.
