Thanks Matthew As i've learnt with ubuntu the 6 month release tends to come round so quickly i've never bothered to update the odd package. Thanks in the sense that'll i'll have a look and learn how it's done!
In fact i now only do an annual April update - i don't reckon 6 months is worth doing.
