I"m unable to open text files, log files with gVim which are located
on my desktop or in "My Documents". I associated those filetypes to
open with gvim using "Open With" in right click context menu.

Then i followed the above tip to open those files with gvim. Now i'm
encountering with Error 471: Argument missing when i'm trying to open
those files. Now the situation has become like, i can open those files
*only* with notepad, wordpad :(

I hope that gives enough info on what i did. Thanks
