scscope doesn't split the window - 2 new
----------------------------------------
I want to use cscope in Vim. I have enabled cscope support. The command "
cscope" works well, but I prefer to put the cscope search result in a new
window. Unfortunately, "scscope" doesn't split the window at all. It works
totally the same as "cscope". I add "set cscopequickfix=s-,g-,c-,d-,i-, t-,e-"
in .vimrc, now - Sat, Jan 12 2008 5:13 am

Feedback on function converting latin1 to utf-8 - 1 new
-------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I've written a simple function to convert latin1 to utf-8 and vice versa
and hooked it up to a menu. It works well and there's nothing to complain
about from my side, but I thought I give it a shot here if people spot
something to improve. function! Mfn_Buffer_Recode(from, to) if &encoding != a:

write 'set t_Co=256', scroll and keybind problems - 3 new
---------------------------------------------------------
Hello all: Firstly, thank you all the developers for creating such a useful
editor. I have customized my .vimrc file to have some custom mappings, colors,
etc. That all works well in MS Windows. However, when I use the same .vimrc
file in a Unix/Linux environment, some of the features don't work. In - Sat,

Vim Batch Mode Failure - For Vim-Dev - 2 new
--------------------------------------------
Hello Vim, I posted this to Vim-Dev but it hasn't shown up there. The problem
I'm reporting appears to be related to recent patches to vim. Whenever I run
my script to update runtime files, it executes: vim -u NONE -i NONE -Nnesc "
helpt $vimruntime\doc|q" to update the tags file. That shell command no longer
works - Sat, Jan 12 2008 1:08 pm

mru and menu order - 2 new
--------------------------
After adding mru.vim to the plugins folder and restarting gvim the 'File' drop
down menu is no longer located on the left side of the menu bar, but is at the
other end of the menu bar, just to the left of the 'Help' menu. It doesn't
appear to cause any problems with functionality, but is somewhat annoying. Has
anyone else seen this - Sat, Jan 12 2008 9:25 pm
