Well, I certainly don't want to argue that top-posters and non-trimmers are lazy. The reason I like vim is that it doesn't require contortions like Ctrl-Shift-Down or Ctrl-X Ctrl-D. I like vim's simple keystrokes for commands because, well, I'm lazy too.
