I have the following macro defined:
<F8> }{<CR>i<p><Esc>}kA</p><Esc>{gq}
When I am converting a text file to html, no matter where I am in a
paragraph I can press <F8> and the <p></p> tags will be added and the
paragraph reformated.
This has worked fine for a very long time but recently (sometime within
the past year) it no longer works if the file has a .php extention. What
happens now is that the lines are broken at tw but the resulting short
line is not joined with the following line.
If I hard link the file to a name ending in other than .php it still
works as intended.
What setting is causing this and how do I get it to work correctly?
