I've heard some interesting answers to my original question, but I'm still
not sure if all these other programs (meld, kdiff3, etc.) are just front
ends to the cmdline diffutils or separate diff programs.  I'm generally
happy with vim's diff support, but I was wondering if there is a more
powerful backend that I should be using (not that I'm missing anything in
particular right now.)
