I'm not sure I follow your intent here -- I was the one to originally suggest putting ":wq!" on the back. It's certainly a vim command and means exactly what I wanted it to mean, i.e. ":wq!" is the "write the current file, overwriting if needed even if read-only or pre-existing, and quit", loosely to be interpreted as "vim...that's all I need to write, and I do so with confidence/authority". My track record here on the mailing list is pretty extensive evidence that running vimtutor is a bit superfluous for me. Yes, there have been discussions about using ":x!" instead of ":wq!", but you can review the mailing list if you're curious about that line of reasoning. But using the exclamation point?
