Well, then apparently your 'guifont' is not the best one for italic
Cyrillic. See http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Setting_the_font_in_the_GUI
For Cyrillic, I recommend *not* to use Lucida as its bold glyphs are a
tiny wee bit (1px or so) wider than its unbold glyphs, and gvim doesn't
like that. I use (on Linux) Bitstream Vera Sans Mono; if you don't have
that, you may want to try DejaVu Sans Mono or even Courier New.
