Hi,
I was wondering what the best way to get the netrw plugin
   (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1075) working on
Windows. From my understanding, it depends on client-side executables
to run. So, is it by installing a minimal version of Cygwin? Are
there any other alternatives? Primarily, I will using the scp and
sftp options, although I may use others down the road. Thanks for
   your help.

Netrw can also work under cygwin; it usually works by default that way.
