Here would be nice to use once in a while some of the features of
TextExpander that I couldn't found in Vim, as the embeded images or
the templates.
Also very useful for me is the synchronisation of the
TextExpander-"snippets" via Dropbox with my iPhone % iPad - something
where MacVim's abbreviations doesn't help.
TextExpander works with all the other programs on my Mac - why not
with MacVim?!
I understand these features would be nice.
I suggest you raise the issue on the vim_mac mailing list. The MacVim creator
follows that list and may be able to explain why support is not possible or
difficult, or say how likely support is in the future, or at least give some ideas
what may need to be done to make it work.
