I have been updating my vim windows with Yongwei's build (http://

able to access this page.
What I like in the binary that is provided there is that it was
compiled against python 2.7, while cream binaries
are compiled against python 2.6.
Is there another place where I can get the binary with the latest
patches that is compiled against python 2.7?
If not is there a guide for compiling vim against with visual studio?
Thanks
Maybe a README somewhere in the source; or you might have a look at the
insides of src/Make_mvc.mak which is (IIUC) the Makefile for that compiler.
http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Getting_the_Vim_source_with_Mercurial applies
to all platforms and compilers.
I have a HowTo for cygwin gcc (or Borland BCC) at
http://users.skynet.be/antoine.mechelynck/vim/compile.htm — it may help
you some, but beware that the compilers and the makefiles are different,
so there will probably be some difference in the command-line switches
and/or environment variables.
Best regards,
Tony.

Real computer scientists don't program in assembler. They don't write
in anything less portable than a number two pencil.
