Dear Dr. Campbell, I've finally discovered what has been going on and why I've been receiving these error messages "on occasion". The Decho calls within the script that I was using to try and debug the issue were in themselves changing the buffer #, resulting in a constantly changing buffer # for the current buffer. After I removed all of these Decho calls, the move command ran without error.
