Hello.

I did make some progress with Logic 9 and have another session next Tuesday
morning.
Here's what I know so far:
It is possible to do all things with Logic 9 that can be done with Garage
Band 5 in Snow Leopard.
The playhead is the most inaccessible feature of Logic, as it is in Garage
Band.
Many work-arounds for such features as looping, cutting, copying, and
splitting regions can be accomplished much easier in Logic because of
endless keyboard commands.
It is possible to easily reassign or create new keyboard commands for
accomplishing most tasks in Logic.
