Sounds great. So, how are you adjusting track parameters like volume and pan, setting the software instrument for the current track, selecting effects for the insert slots, etc? That's all controlled from the mix area of the main window, which is completely invisible to VoiceOver.
I've already looked at all of the possible hotkey actions in Logic (not just the ones that are currently assigned to hotkeys), and this can't be accomplished from the keyboard. I have a hardware control surface, so can access some of these, but the control surface protocol is Mackie Control, which involves lots of accessibility problems. There are buttons that you press, for example, that step through choices without ever returning to a home or start position. So, you don't ever really know what mode you're in. How have you gained access to the mixer features? Hello. I did make some progress with Logic 9 and have another session next Tuesday morning. Here's what I know so far: It is possible to do all things with Logic 9 that can be done with Garage Band 5 in Snow Leopard. The playhead is the most inaccessible feature of Logic, as it is in Garage Band. Many work-arounds for such features as looping, cutting, copying, and splitting regions can be accomplished much easier in Logic because of endless keyboard commands. It is possible to easily reassign or create new keyboard commands for accomplishing most tasks in Logic. More to come. Thanks.
