Thank you for this hint. I've looked multiple time through the dwb sources too, but I've never read the man page and never tripped over the external downloader there. To simplify the things I'd suggest to use either script option or environment variables. To use both way to transport the information to the script seems to be redundant. But may be I'm wrong and lost sight of some facts. I'm in the mood to kick out the webkit based downloader in favor to the external one. I think we can use some simple default setting like in dwm `x-terminal-emulator -e wget $uri -O $outputFile --load-cookies $cookieFile`. And if the user likes something better, this could be changed.
