I've tested it a little. I can download this file with the command for
wget and curl that I posted in the previous message.

All those things that you've mentioned must be handled by an external
downloader, not vimb. The only problem is how to deal with the
authentication. It seems that there is no simple solution, except adding
a new entry for each such page in the .netrc file.
