Mary, You can certainly make a floppy backup of a CD... But depending on the amount of data on the CD... You may want to consider getting some stock in a floppy manufacturer. But to answer your question... No. Some install CDs are little more than a collection of install segments designed to fit onto floppy disks. Often you will find the segments in individual folders labeled "Disk 1", "Disk 2", "Disk 3" and so on. You may want to consider getting an external CD-ROM drive.
