In this day of cheap, readily-available microcontrollers and burners, it 
would likely be possible and even pretty straightforward to build a 
translator between the two. The current project I see is dedicated 
towards attaching various keyboards to other interfaces (primarily to 
PS2, though there are some others thrown in)

Of interest to this group would be the Mac 128k/512k/Plus -> PS2 and PS2 
-> Mac Plus/etc.

But, the mouse protocols are, if anything, simpler than the keyboard 
ones, so there'd be nothing keeping someone from doing something 
similar. I suspect it would be trivial to adapt one of the old "Bus 
Mouse" or "InPort Mouse" type PC mice since the pins are similar. I've 
seen adapers to attach them to Atari STs, at any rate.
