I think the all standard 90 deg. Power cables bend the same way, and cover the 
power switch on the compact Mac.
If you gat a 30amp 90 deg. Power cable it will bend the other way. I've done 
that, worked fine.
This is true in the USA. YMMV

Well ok, this is getting weirder - I was looking online and from what I can 
tell, the power plug is in the same orientation on the Macintosh 128k, 512k, 
and Plus. Why is this power cord I have upside down?? It even has an apple logo 
on it. Any insights would be appreciated, this is really starting to bug me...
