I read quite a detailed description in one of the "Inside Macintosh"
volumes. I think it was III, but the memory is hazy, it could have
been I or II. Or I could be completely futzy and it could have been
in "The Guide to the Macintosh Family Hardware". But I do remember
thinking that pretty much everything I needed to know to understand
the protocol was in this book--with the possible exception of a 6522
datasheet.
