Well, the SE/30 should have a built-in HD, but it could be corrupted,  
or just broken. You can boot on a floppy, and see if it recognizes the  
HD. You can also boot on an external SCSI drive, but you still have to  
boot on a floppy to install the system to the external drive.
SCSI hard drives can be found, but with increasing difficulty.
