I have myself a well used 638CD that I saved from the dumpster at
school. It ran great for many years where I used it as a TV since it
has a 600mb HDD (So I didn't do much more with it... my plan was to
make it into a dirt-cheap TIVO, but I haven't been arsed to get the
HDD upgraded and all my files transferred).
Well... This is where it gets strange, A few weeks ago, I tried to
plug in my PS2 gaming console into the A\V in jacks on the back of my
Mac... and it wouldn't display anything. (This is right after I
upgraded the Mac from 7.0.1 to 7.6.x) So i'm not sure if the PS2 did
the damage, or if the system upgrade did it in...
Now, I've used this Mac for many years, and I don't want to dump it
now (Or swap it) just because the thing decided it was time to stop
working. I've got no idea where to start trying to fix this problem,
so I'm asking here for help.

(On a side note... I've got a PowerMac 5400 that had it's screen die,
and i'm really hoping that I can find a way to run the system without
it's screen, since it can use the TV card too... and it has PCI (for
USB ) )

Thanks in advance
