I think that the pics are officially against list rules.
Yes, the caps are flaming...
50% of interneters in american use modem still. 50% of americas don't
have internet at all. So it is something to consider.

Anyway, what I do is sign up with gmail/ google to get a digest of the
emails. then clicking in the link of this thread I get a new window,
with the thread.

In this case there are a bunch of  8k thumbnails with links beside to
view or download =  OK for a modem user to handle at will.

Although I don't use a modem our library does and I don't have
anything at home, sometimes I am at the library and I can do email and
light browsing OK, and I can use an old '97 powerbook for practice...
