I was given a nearly-functional 128k Mac (ROM was bad, swapped it for a
broken Plus's, not quite original now but it works) and I had some fun
making a low-end word processor. I got System 1 and the original
MacWrite going and actually did a semi-decent amount of document
creation on it. In the end the annoyance of getting the documents off
the 400k disks (and later 800k when I accidentally discovered the Plus
ROM upgrade enabled that) proved enough that I moved up to my Classic
with HD floppies and internet access.

It was kind of fun using vintage 1984 hardware *and* software to
actually do something useful.
