Others have said it works.

Even after Shareway reduced its prices it's still more expensive than an SE/30.
In my case I would have to buy several copies. Parts of Shareway are actually
licensed and installed by Apple in OS 8.5 and up.

Stairways Netpresenz with what was once a $10 share fee allows ftp and http
transfers that work fine with OS neXt and Ubuntu but they don't allow for
mounting of remote disks. It's possible to get used to that. Newer versions of
Stairways' Interarchy allow remote mounting, of a sort, using ftp.

OS neXt and Ubuntu both talk ssh making scp available for remote copies that
are really simple - well - you do have to be willing to use Terminal.app. I
find I can use scp to pass files to the Ubuntu box at home while travelling. I
can do that on 10.3.9 with a drag and drop AppleScript..
