i am thinking of selling my Macintosh Classic pretty soon, either at eBay or here (lem-swap??)
i am wondering, how do i go about shipping this? its a Classic with a IIgs-style keyboard, aftermarket mouse, external 800k floppy, and the needed cables. i am afraid my packing skills aren't good enough for something as fragile as an old Mac, as most of what i have shipped in the past are 14 inch PC laptops, which are extremely easy to pack up. when the time comes, should i just take it to a UPS store and let them pack it? coming from New York, how much should i expect it to cost, like to California or something? i ask because i have seen a few compact Macs posted, so i hope somebody can share their experience or something? thanks! -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
