Micron Technology, most famous for their DRAM chips. Through their Crucial Technology division they've marketed computer memory modules (mostly DIMMs) for years. For a while they had a division selling complete PCs, but spun that off. (MPC went bankrupt a couple years ago.) Micron has made computer memory products for a long time. I had a 286 with a pair of 4 meg 16 bit ISA Micron RAM cards. Currently, in addition to several types of memory chips and imaging chips (used in many camera phones) the company is expanding into photovoltaic technology. They're looking at remodeling some obsolete chip production facilities for PV production. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micron_Technology -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
