then you were both lucky the IIfx I had was a horror until I finally got hold of the proper IIfx terminator - crashing, not booting, chime of death, drives not mounting - you name it I had it as I recall I had 2 external hds, an external apple 2x cd drive (still have that one sitting on a shelf), a 44 mb syquest and a scanner hooked up to it one other thing worked for me, an saved my days till the terminator arrived: on of those golden scsi cables - don't remember the name anymore, but actually still have it around somewhere it had to be placed between 2 specific units, and everything should be attached in a very specific order - pure hell it was with the black thingy, it all went away hmmm... 13 years ago now /tina -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
