That's a classic symptom of a bad solder joint. They usually appear on the bigger joints on the analog board around the flyback transformer and the power connectors where cables plug in. My theory is that the wave or reflow soldering temperature gets set for the delicate connectors that might be damaged with the result being imperfect joints on the big stuff.
