I have a Quadra 605 that is giving me heartburn, lately. First, it was giving the chimes of death, but that was quickly remedied by re-seating the RAM. Now, it powers on, and chimes, and I can hear the hard drive spin up, but I get nothing on the screen, at all, and I never hear it try to boot from the hard drive.
I have 2 monitors available, a 12" AppleColor RGB, from my Apple IIgs, and a Belkin OmniView Mac Adapted (F1D080), attached to a 24" LCD. The OmniView adapter used to work fine, with this machine, before it was taken down, about 6 months ago. The AppleColor monitor, I have never tried, but it does theoretically work with at least the Mac II. Any thoughts?
