When you say "still available," do you mean that the manufacturing capacity still exists for them? Or simply that a company or two stockpiled them some time ago with an eye to future sales?

"Lots" of floppy disks, both "brand new" (but perhaps "new old stock") and "used" seem to be available almost everywhere.

I bought loads of Shugart 851 drives, for upgrading my Xerox 820 micros, some many years ago.

I see the drives and the media are still available from time-to-time.

I seriously doubt if brand-new drives are available, except for "new old stock". Possibly the same for media.

Anyway, there seems to be a more than adequate supply of such drives and media.
