How would you rate the quality of the ones you got? I've bought several dirt cheap ones over the years (not from you, mind you) and they've rarely lasted very long. I'm not sure if it's all the switches that make them fragile, or if they're just very poorly made, or what, but they always seem to die quickly.

On the other hand, I have a different adapter with no switches that's just a little black rectangle that's worked on everything from a PowerMac 8500 to a IIci to a LC475 that's attached to everything from an old 15" multisync to a 24" 1080P LCD. I haven't noticed any particular limitation in resolutions either, which was often a problem if I didn't get the switched ones set up just right. Maybe someday I'll put a multimeter to it and figure out the pin mappings.
