My Synology NAS has AFP capability built in, so I can fileshare with any of my Macs (and PCs and UNIX machines as well). I have a G4 running OS 9 and some Quadras running OS 8 and 7, which can act as additional bridge machines with floppies and LocalTalk. There's lots of ways to get data around to different machines. Fastest would be ethernet and AFP, next fastest would be LocalTalk and AFP, and last would be floppies. - Nate -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
