I believe Apple bought shareway, or at least part of it, for delivery with OS 8. It was originally developed for use over a wide area network where it made it possible to use "standard" interface techniques in the world beyond Apple. It was also expensive requiring copies for each machine and that's why I never used it. That may have been fixed. -- --> A fair tax is one that you pay but I don't <-- -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
