In addition to bad caps, be sure you are carefully inspecting the logic board 
for any bad traces that may have been eaten away or blackened by the leaking 
electrolyte. I had a Iicx with a bad trace around C15/C16 in the soft power 
circuit causing problems. I've also fixed a Iici with a bad trace between the 
ADB ports causing issues with soft power on one port but not the other and 
another with a bad trace to pin 2 on UE13 .

Really look closely all around any areas where the electrolyte was sitting.
