Coolers for 80486 CPUs can be made to work on a 68040. Of course the problem is
finding one after all these years.

If you choose to do this, make sure you have a good heat sink with a fan for
68040. They can get hot. In the lab we ran some which were rated at 50MHz and
they were hot enough to burn.
