If you already have a heatsink but the fan is suspect, a standard 40mm fan will 
probably fit as a replacement. I would also invest in something to slow and 
quieten the fan, such as a 2-watt resistor attached inline with the positive 
lead, or simply look for a fan with a relatively low speed to begin with.
