Hello. I have a Apple Portrait monitor connected to a
Quadra 610 using an apple monitor power cable. For
some reason when I turn the computer off the monitor
does not shut down. The screen goes dark but the
power is still getting to the monitor. I still have
to reach behind the monitor to turn it on and off. I
tried the same monitor and cable with a IIcx and a
Quadra 650. With each of those machines when I turn
off the computer the monitor also shuts down so I can
leave the monitor switched on all the time but power
is not getting to the monitor. I was hoping that using
the cable I would not have to continually reach behind
the monitor to turn it on when I boot up the computer.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

John
