AFAIK there were five different types:

Original beige with logo
Original beige with logo, 90� right-angle plug
Grey with logo
Grey with logo, 90� right-angle plug
Translucent casing with coloured insulation on inner wires (iMac and newer)

The 128 and 512s shipped with #2; I'm not sure what the Plus shipped with.
The SE, or at least our SE, shipped with #3, and our ImageWriter II shipped
with #4.
