Try a Xerox or Canon with the individual ink tanks.
The tanks are each quite large and print a lot.
The canon inks can be found on the net for about
$7 per color. Of course the only way they hook to
a Mac is via USB so they aren't vintage applicable.
Some of the models may be shareable though but
that still won't help vintage Macs if the drivers
are PPC only. Some of the HPs have drivers for
System 7.5 on an 040 but only if the printer
is plugged into an HP or compatable ethernet
print server box.
