Scsi hard drive usually have a large 50 pin plug on the end.. if you know
what an ide hard drive connector looks like, then you will know whether it
is scsi or not.. the vram slot on the lcII is the big blue one.
the LCII has a place for an FPU (68882) with solder pads.. you can solder a
socket into one, which Is what I have done.. but you also need the fpu,
which William Ahearn kindly sent me, but i am unsure whether he has another
one, or whether you are able to solder a 68 pin socket on to the
motherboard. trusy me, its not something you want to do every decade, or
century :)

Steve, thanks for help.

the IIfx has 16 Meg in it now. the LC II has 11 Meg.

how can you tell if the HDs are scsi or not? what does the Mac FPU look
like? VRAM? where is it on MOBO?

i understand scsi and other computer stuff, so talk as 'heavy' as you wish.
i just don't know the Macs!

where can i get new or used Mac memory, etc?

i need some sort of screen saver for the 2 Macs, where can i download them?

there's a PC to Mac to PC xfer appz ( i have a PC on the web now) people
have talked about, where can i get it? CNET?
