I appreciate your helping me become a better informed 'Net citizen.
FWIW I did a lot of trolling for salmon, halibut, etc. off the coast
of Newport, Oregon with my Dad as a boy.
I've never done any trawling (fishing with a trawl) but the sound and
smell of the diesel engines of the trawlers offshore often awaken me
around sunrise here in Hayama, Japan. (Actually, the nets are not
trawls but small drift nets, but I really don't want to start a
thread. [:<[ )
