Can anyone tell me what quality of video image I should be able to grab with this card? I can grab a 24 bit grey scale image (which looks great after using the de-interlace option) but I thought this card might be capable of colour too.
The setups I have tried are Mac II, 8Mb RAM, System 6.0.8 and System 7.0.? and Mac IIci, 32Mb RAM, System 7.1 with usual enhancements. I believe that I'm using the same version of the Neotech software that is available in Pickle's archive. My video source is a standard PAL VCR hooked up to a SCART to S-Video adapter, the S-Video cable being 3 or 4 metres in length. My current VCR and TV are low end models so SCART is the only I/O option available. Would it be worth trying the card in my PowerMac 6100 using a PDS-->NuBus right angle adapter?
