Hi Folks: Let me openly admit that I am a PC interloper and know nothing about Macs except what I've learned through the 'net and lurking on lists like this. So those of you with a low tolerance for ignorance, read no further.
That having been said, what I'm trying to accomplish is to make a network accessible printer out of a LaserWriter Select 360 using a Dayna EtherPrint. I've downloaded and installed the EtherPrint Administrator software and my PowerComputer 601/120 ran that fine, can now "see" the printer and print to it at will. Also, the same Mac accesses the internet just fine via my Linksys router and cable modem. But that's as far as I can get so far. I can't get my PCs to see either the Mac or the LaserWriter. So far, I've installed IPX/SPX and NetBIOS as well as TCP/IP protocols. Can anyone lend this blind man a hand?
